Our involvement in Service, Social activities, and Community support helped Longshore Lake achieve Blue Zones approval in the summer of 2022.
In November 2011, LLWC attained status as a 501(c)(4) organization, because of our active commitment to service in our community and beyond. We currently donate over $12,000 yearly to charitable organizations.
In addition to our monthly meetings, we sponsor other opportunities to get together, such as Bingo, Bunco, Girls Day/Night Out, Holiday Party, and other special events!
Our Interest Groups include Canasta, Daytime Book Club, Evening Book Club, Gardening, Lunch & Laugh, Mah Jongg, and Mexican Train.
For almost 20 years the Service Committee has been sponsoring monthly Bingo nights, which are highly popular. All proceeds from this fundraiser are donated to our supported charities.
