Longshore Lake Women's Club

The Heart of our Community

All women residing in Longshore Lake are welcome!

In the formative years, the families who moved into Longshore were a tight-knit group. The women decided to form a club to facilitate socializing and welcome new neighbors. Fourteen women attended the first meeting held in August 1990. Of that group, two original members are still living here. We have grown to over 160 members!

LLWC is a vital part of this community. Being a part of this dynamic club is a great way to meet your neighbors, make friends, and find others with common interests. We will welcome you and hope that you join us to see for yourself the reason why we truly are “The Heart of our Community”!

We would be happy to answer any questions about the meetings, activities, and opportunities to become a part of this vibrant group and would like to invite you to join us at one of our meetings, which are held at the clubhouse on the first Wednesday of the month. We gather with meet and greet time, a short meeting, and then a luncheon followed by a program.

Mission Statement

Provide members with opportunities for friendships and shared interests through group activities and social events.
Welcome all new residents and provide helpful information about the LLWC and their community.
Promote awareness of the social and cultural offerings of the surrounding community through planned activities and outings.
Provide opportunities to improve the welfare of others through community service activities.
